Newspaper Cinco Días remarks on the good result achieved by the Erste WWF Stock Environment fund, which is advised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s largest conservation NGO, which boasts «over five million members and 1 billion dollars spent on environmental protection projects over the last 25 years».
The publication adds: «In the last decade, the average annual return of the Erste WWF Stock Environment fund has been of 8%. In the last three years, the returns have been better, reaching 13% despite the stock market corrections of 2018 and 2020». So, the accumulated return from June 2017 to June 2020 to has been of 40.6%, double that of the world MSCI, they report.

According to statements made by the Spanish Sustainable Investment Association (Spainsif) that has included the article, «this fund benefits from the long term outlook of megatrends in environmental technologies in the sectors of energy, water and waste management».
